Sullivan to Present at National Independent Automobile Dealers Association's 2019 Convention

Posted 5:45 PM by

Kevin Sullivan, partner in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Buy Here – Pay Here and Dealership Services Groups, will present at the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association’s (NIADA) 2019 Convention. Taking place June 17-20 in Las Vegas, NV, the event brings together car dealers from across the country to discuss the latest industry trends and network with other industry professionals.

Sullivan will serve as a panelist during the session “Tax Law Changes: Nuggets of Wisdom from 2018 Returns,” which will review how tax reform impacted dealership owners’ tax returns and will discuss what they should do moving forward. Sullivan, who has a strong background in analytical research and technical review of federal tax issues, has performed extensive work on income tax issues relative to the typical two-entity, buy here – pay here (BHPH) structure and the discounting opportunities available with related finance companies.

The conference will cover a variety of other topics, including the following:

  • Disruption in the auto industry
  • Mastering the art of accountability
  • How to sell and operate a service department
  • The dealers’ guide to digital marketing
  • The psychology of effective collections
  • Successfully integrating BHPH into retail operations

For more information or to register, visit the conference website.
