INDIANAPOLIS – Jake Sciaudone, manager in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Real Estate Services Group, has been named a recipient of Ball State University’s Paul W. Parkison Department of Accounting Alumni 3 Under 30 award.

This award recognizes BSU Paul W. Parkison Department of Accounting alumni who have earned positions of responsibility and demonstrate career success.

Since joining KSM in 2016, Sciaudone has become a leader in the firm’s growing cost segregation practice and is quickly becoming known as an expert on real estate depreciation deductions. Based on his exceptional performance and capability to help clients navigate the world of real estate tax, Sciaudone was promoted from senior tax accountant to manager in 2020.

Beyond his career achievements, Sciaudone channels his energies and talents into volunteering with the American Cancer Society’s Associate Board of Ambassadors of Indianapolis and Meals on Wheels of Central Indiana. He also previously served as the vice president of finance for Friends of Riley and as co-captain of KSM’s tutoring team volunteering through Brightlane Learning (formerly School on Wheels).

“Jake is a natural leader who serves his clients well by asking the right questions to provide smart, strategic solutions,” said Josh Malarsky, partner-in-charge of KSM’s Real Estate Services Group. “His enthusiasm for continuous personal and professional development helps inspire a culture of excellence that empowers staff. We’re lucky and grateful to have him on our team.”

In 2022, Sciaudone was named to Indianapolis Business Journal’s second annual class of 20 in Their Twenties, which recognizes up-and-coming leaders in central Indiana.
