INDIANAPOLIS – KSM (Katz, Sapper & Miller), a leading employee-owned accounting and advisory firm, today announced that Indianapolis-based managed services provider (MSP) Blackink IT is joining the firm, expanding KSM’s technology advisory team and strengthening its ability to help clients address increasingly complex technology needs.
Effective Nov. 1, 2026, Blackink IT’s team of professionals will join KSM to form the foundation of the firm’s new managed intelligence services pillar. The addition broadens KSM’s technology offerings by combining managed IT services with automation, analytics, and human expertise to create a more proactive, insight-driven support model.
Blackink IT is an award-winning managed services provider (MSP), serving as a long-term strategic technology partner for its clients. As an MSP, Blackink IT provides ongoing cybersecurity, physical and cloud infrastructure, end-user support, systems management, and strategic operational IT support.
“Technology has become central to nearly every business decision our clients make,” said Tim Cook, KSM CEO and president. “We’re excited to welcome the Blackink IT team to KSM as we continue expanding our technology advisory capabilities. Together, we’ll bring strategy, infrastructure, data, AI, automation, and managed intelligence into one coordinated approach that helps clients align technology with their business goals.”
Blackink IT will become part of KSM’s Intelligent Technology Services Group, where its managed services expertise will complement the firm’s existing technology advisory offerings. Together, the combined team will continue evolving toward a modern service delivery model that leverages scalable technology solutions to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and client outcomes.
Doug Allgood, president and CEO of Blackink IT, will lead KSM’s managed intelligence services pillar.
“When we began thinking about Blackink IT’s next chapter, finding the right cultural fit was every bit as important as finding the right strategic fit,” said Allgood. “KSM shares our people-first mindset, our commitment to clients, and our long-term vision for growth. Joining KSM gives our team access to expanded career opportunities and additional expertise while allowing us to continue delivering the responsive, high-touch service our clients know and trust.”
Over the coming months, Blackink IT will transition to the KSM brand.
KSM continues to grow by diversifying its service offerings and expanding its geographic footprint. In January, KSM announced the launch of KSM Corporate Finance, its new investment banking service line, with the addition of Charter Capital Partners’ investment banking team, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
