Manchir to Present at Indiana Chapter Annual ESOP Conference

Posted 5:00 AM by

Andy Manchir, director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s ESOP Services Group, will present at The ESOP Association’s Indiana Chapter 2018 Annual ESOP Conference. Taking place Feb. 27 in Indianapolis, IN, this conference will bring together professionals from the employee stock ownership program (ESOP) community for networking and continuing education opportunities.

Manchir’s session, “Acquisition Strategies for ESOPs,” will address why mature ESOP companies need to understand the mergers and acquisitions market and how it can impact their business. This session will help ESOP companies consider the strategic rationale for acquisitions and the implementation strategies that will help grow ESOP value. Valuation and trustee considerations and current market trends will be discussed, including valuation multiples and quality of earnings (Q of E) analysis.

Additional conference topics include:

  • Roles and responsibilities in ESOP companies
  • ESOP sustainability
  • Making connections in an employee-owned company
  • Legal and regulatory issues for ESOPs
  • Due diligence in hiring ESOP professionals

The ESOP Association is the largest employer-sponsored advocacy and education association focused on retirement savings in America, with 18 local chapters serving approximately 2,800 ESOP companies, professionals with a commitment to ESOPs, and companies considering the implementation of an ESOP.
