Posted 1:16 PM by

Andy Manchir, director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s ESOP Services Group, will co-present at the upcoming ESOP Association’s Great Lakes Regional ESOP Conference, taking place Oct. 19-20 in Sandusky, OH. This annual conference provides attendees the opportunity to participate in more than 40 educational seminars while networking with fellow industry professionals.

Manchir’s session, “Acquisition Strategies for ESOPs” will review how the merger and acquisition market can impact mature employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) companies. Additionally, valuation and trustee considerations and current market trends will be discussed, including valuation multiples and quality of earnings (Q of E) analysis.

A variety of ESOP related topics will be addressed during this two-day conference, including:

  • How the ESOP plan design affects allocations
  • Onboarding new ESOP participants
  • Analyzing the valuation issues in recent ESOP lawsuits
  • Succession planning
  • ESOP sustainability
