Unless you've been living under a rock, you should have at least heard reference to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), also sometimes simply referred to as the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The ACA was signed into law in March of 2010 with the intent to decrease the number of uninsured individuals, reduce the cost of health care and create an overall healthier population.
