Andrew Goodman is a partner in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Audit & Assurance Services Group. Andrew helps clients navigate the ever-changing environment of financial reporting and operational controls, helping to ensure they are up to date on best practices and making profitable business decisions. Advising clients in a multitude of industries, including manufacturing, transportation, professional services, and not-for-profit, Andrew’s particular focus is in construction, where he is a leader in KSM’s Construction Services Group and has worked with over 80 unique clients within the industry. Utilizing his extensive construction expertise, Andrew serves as a valuable resource to the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services Group on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements within the industry.

Andrew also has experience leading forensic investigations and internal controls consulting engagements. These engagements consist of internal control evaluation and risk assessment, fraud detection, and the use of data analytics to quantify, detect, and advise clients as to the most effective methods to detect and mitigate threats.

Andrew graduated with distinction from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance. He has also earned the prestigious Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation, which is an indication of his expertise in the area of construction financial management.

Andrew is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Indiana CPA Society. He serves as the executive vice president of the Central Indiana Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and on the leadership committee for the Associated General Contractors of Indiana. He also serves on the finance committee for Mother Theodore Catholic Academies (MTCA) in Indianapolis, an organization which seeks to provide a Catholic education of the highest quality to children in under-served communities. Additionally, Andrew is a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Safari Club International, Ducks Unlimited, and the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Andrew is a recipient of the 2023 Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) Rising Stars award which recognizes inspiring members under the age of 40 who have positively impacted the construction industry and their companies.
