KSM Welcomes Tax Partner Ashley Marcuccilli
FORT WAYNE, IND. – KSM (Katz, Sapper & Miller), a leading independent advisory, tax, and audit firm, is pleased to announce that Ashley Marcuccilli has joined the firm as a tax partner in its Business Advisory Group. She will be based in KSM’s Fort Wayne office.
As a partner at KSM, Marcuccilli will provide tax compliance and consulting services to a wide range of clients across the firm, including closely held businesses, private equity firms, hedge funds, family offices, and large fund-of-funds. With nearly two decades of experience, she helps clients navigate complex federal tax considerations, develop strategies to enhance tax efficiency, and align their tax positions with broader business objectives.
Marcuccilli has extensive experience in the investment management sector, where she has worked with some of the industry’s largest asset managers, as well as family offices, on tax planning, structuring, and reporting matters. She has also advised clients on compliance matters related to pass-through entities, including partnerships and the complexities associated with economic and tax allocations.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Ashley to KSM,” said Tim Cook, KSM CEO and president. “She brings deep technical expertise, a strong commitment to developing others, and proven leadership abilities that will strengthen our capabilities across the firm.”
Marcuccilli’s addition reflects KSM’s broader investment in the firm’s future, including the expansion of its advisory services, geographic reach, and top-tier talent and leadership. In 2025, KSM added independent Chicagoland firm MichaelSilver and in January 2026 acquired Charter Capital Partners’ investment banking team, based in Grand Rapids.
In Fort Wayne, where KSM’s employee count is approaching 70, the firm continues to deepen its presence through both talent and infrastructure. KSM has increased its office footprint in the downtown Metro Building to support its growth, including the rapid expansion of its Outsourced Finance & Accounting Services (OFAS) practice, which continues to scale nationally.
“Ashley’s arrival is a strong signal of where our firm is headed in Fort Wayne,” said Amy Lehrman, managing partner of KSM’s Fort Wayne office. “We’re investing in exceptional talent and creating an environment where people can learn, grow, and lead. With the momentum we’re seeing across our office, Ashley is joining at an exciting time and will play an important role in what comes next.”
Prior to joining KSM, Marcuccilli served as a managing director in Deloitte Tax LLP’s federal tax group. Her experience includes serving clients across multiple industries, including financial services and real estate. She is also a former board member of the Fort Wayne Zoo.
“I’m excited to join KSM, a firm that’s focused on growth and impact,” said Marcuccilli. “It’s especially meaningful to be a part of the office in Fort Wayne, the community I have called home for many years, while having the opportunity to contribute to the firm more broadly. As an employee-owned firm, KSM’s culture is collaborative and entrepreneurial, making it the right place to help shape practice areas, grow a strong team, and deliver lasting value to clients.”
Marcuccilli earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy and a Master of Science degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
