KSM Honored as a Top 50 Construction Accounting Firm
Katz, Sapper & Miller (KSM) has been named one of The Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms in the country by Construction Executive (CE) magazine.
CE’s Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms list is based on an algorithm using survey data submitted by hundreds of U.S. construction accounting firms. Survey data includes firm revenue, number of CPAs in the firm’s construction practice, number of construction clients, number of firm partners with a construction focus, and geographic locations served.
KSM is one of only three Indiana-based public accounting firms to earn the honor.
“Our ranking in this elite group is representative of our commitment to the construction industry,” said Ron Lenz, partner-in-charge of KSM’s Construction Services Group. “This recognition couldn’t have been achieved without contributions from our Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (CCIFPs), including Ben Lyon, Andrew Goodman, and Zeeshan Malik.”
This inaugural list debuts a decade after the Great Recession of 2007-2009, which resulted in a workforce shortage and saw many construction companies hang up their hard hats for good. Although today’s construction climate continues to grow, the labor deficit remains a major concern for construction company owners. CPAs are tasked with helping their clients balance growth while searching for reliable skilled labor. Additionally, construction clients are adapting to a steep learning curve with a digital transformation in the field.
