2021 HFMA Indiana Virtual Spring Institute

In 2021, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) adopted sweeping changes to evaluation and management (E/M) coding, which will impact physician compensation. Join KSM’s David Blish as he explains the impact of these changes at the Spring Institute for the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Indiana chapter. Taking place on April 21-22, the virtual conference will explore the latest healthcare topics, including the patient experience, prehospital care, and best practices for revenue cycle management.

Blish, who is a director of healthcare consulting in KSM’s Healthcare Resources Group, will be co-presenting with Carol Hoppe of MedLucid Solutions. Their session will discuss the recent changes to the work relative value unit components of E/M coding and will also cover options for maintaining productivity through scheduling and compensation model updates.
