Mike Heaton, John Martin and David Blish, leaders in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Healthcare Resources Group, will present sessions at the Neurosurgery Executives’ Resource Value & Education Society (NERVES) 2016 Annual Meeting. Taking place April 28-30 at the Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park, the annual meeting provides practice managers and administrators with tools to help navigate the ever-changing landscape of neurosurgery practice management.
Heaton will present a general session to review the most recent NERVES Socio-Economic Survey results. This survey analysis provides relevant benchmarking data to neurosurgery practices and includes total practice statistics as well as data on provider production, compensation, operating costs and support staff.

KSM’s John Martin and David Blish will present two separate sessions. The first session, Service Line Development, will review various service line models and will include the clinical, strategic and business rationale for utilizing services lines as a tool for physician-hospital integration. The second session, ACOs and Bundled Payment Models, will review the latest federal and commercial reimbursement trends and will provide practical takeaways for preparing and implementing population-based reimbursement models.
