Culp Named Winner of Real Estate, Development & Construction Category

Katie Culp and Josh Malarsky have been recognized as two of Indy’s 2017 Best and Brightest by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana. The award honors 100 outstanding young professionals, ages 40 and under in 10 different industries, who are making their mark as up-and-coming talent and the next generation of leaders in the central Indiana community.

Culp, president of KSM Location Advisors, part of the Katz, Sapper & Miller Network, was named the winner of the Real Estate, Development & Construction category. In her role, Culp leads a group of location advisory and incentives consulting professionals. Sensitive to the urgent nature of real estate transactions, she is adept at coordinating site selection and incentives timeframes with real estate and operational deadlines.

Malarsky, a partner in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Real Estate Services Group, was selected as a finalist in the Accounting category. In his role, Malarsky advises clients on complex real estate transactions ranging from buy-sell agreements to tax credit projects, REIT structure and compliance, and more. His long-standing experience allows him to find innovative solutions for clients that minimize – or even eliminate – taxes on many transactions.

Culp and Malarsky, along with the other finalists, were recognized at an awards program in downtown Indianapolis on Nov. 9.
