Valerie Borchers is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Outsourced Finance & Accounting Services Group and works in the firm’s Fort Wayne office. Utilizing the latest accounting technology, she provides real-time visibility into her clients’ operations, maximizing efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improvement. She assists clients with various reporting needs, budgeting, and forecasting. She also manages and analyzes cash flow forecasting, key performance indicators, and industry benchmarks.
Prior to joining KSM, Valerie served as the CFO and COO of a large e-commerce company in northeast Indiana. She has years of experience serving as the CFO of various privately held companies, including eight high-growth start-up organizations, several of which are Inc. 5000 fastest-growing companies. Her industry experience is vast and includes manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, professional services, real estate, distribution, technology, and hospitality.
Valerie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Indiana University Purdue University of Fort Wayne. She is also trained in ERP systems such as NetSuite and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and has been through several implementations. Valerie’s previously held designations include licensed real estate agent, CNA, and HHA.
Valerie is a member of Sonrise Church in Fort Wayne, IN, where she serves as treasurer.
