Tim Mosier is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Tax Services Group. Tim utilizes his strong background in analytical research to help guide clients through technical tax matters so they can meet their compliance requirements while maximizing tax savings. Tim has successfully planned, designed, and implemented federal and state research (R&D) tax credit studies for companies of all sizes across numerous industries. He works with clients to understand their business and implement a successful study that minimizes burden to the company, maximizes savings, and reduces risk. He also has experience successfully resolving R&D credit claims under examination. Additionally, Tim regularly consults on issues related to tax accounting methods, employee retention credits, and federal and state tax compliance.
Prior to joining KSM, Tim spent six years at a Big Four firm serving clients – ranging from small start-ups to Fortune 500 companies – in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, consumer goods, utilities, retail, and automotive.
Tim graduated summa cum laude from the University of Indianapolis, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and Spanish.
Tim is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Indiana CPA Society.
