Mike North is the partner-in-charge of Katz, Sapper & Miller’s advisory services. In this role, Mike leads a team of professionals across the firm who provide a multitude of specialty advisory services. He oversees the hiring and ongoing development of advisory talent and collaborates with the firm’s tax and audit practices as well as industry group leaders to ensure a world-class experience for KSM clients.
As a member of KSM’s six-person executive committee, Mike is responsible for the firm’s merger and acquisition initiatives and other strategic investments.
Since joining the firm in 2000, Mike has consulted with clients in the areas of M&A, financial reporting, auditing, compliance, and internal control matters, helping them make strategic business decisions that will improve their bottom line and avoid risk.
Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from Indiana University. He has also earned the Certified Merger and Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) designation.
Mike is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Indiana CPA Society, the Association for Corporate Growth (Indiana chapter), and the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors.
Mike serves as a board member and treasurer for United Schools of Indianapolis and The Villages, which provides foster parent and adoptive services for children throughout Indiana. He also serves as a board member for the United Way of Central Indiana.
Mike was selected as a recipient of the 2017 Emerging Leaders Award by The M&A Advisor.
