Marlon Webb is a manager of government consulting with KSM. Marlon leverages his expertise in economic development, real estate development consulting, incentives management, and project management to provide strategic support to government clients at the local, state, and federal levels. Drawing on his experience across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, he helps clients efficiently oversee projects, programs, grants, and various levels of public funding to maximize impact. His approach combines technical precision with a focus on fostering sustainable economic growth and community development. Marlon’s leadership ensures that government initiatives align with organizational goals while delivering measurable results.

Marlon has broad experience leading economic development and redevelopment projects from his previous roles at an economic development organization and an economic development consultancy. His efforts have spurred continued investment, job creation, and long-term growth in over 20 communities.

A quote that has stayed with me since high school is, “Excuses are tools of incompetence used to build bridges to nowhere and monuments of nothingness, and those who use them seldom specialize in anything else.” It taught me to embrace challenges and view failure as an opportunity to grow.

Marlon received a Bachelor of Science degree in arts management and a Master of Science degree in public affairs with concentrations in economic development and nonprofit management from Indiana University Bloomington. He is a licensed real estate broker in Indiana.

Marlon is a member of the Indiana chapter of the Urban Land Institute. He currently serves on the boards of NICHE, Crooked Creek Community Development Corporation, Intend Indiana, Leadership Hendricks County, and the Town of Brownsburg’s Board of Zoning Appeals, where he currently serves as board president. Marlon also serves on the steering committee for the American Piano Awards.
