Josh Malarsky is a partner in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Real Estate Services Group and leads the firm’s growth efforts in this important industry area. While Josh provides tax, accounting, and consulting services for a variety of businesses, he specializes in real estate. He advises owners, developers, and investors on complex real estate transactions ranging from buy-sell agreements to tax credit projects, REIT structure and compliance, and more, helping them minimize exposure and maximize opportunities. Josh is also part of the firm’s Aviation Services Group and works with income tax planning and structuring related to privately held aircraft.
Josh received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
Josh is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Indiana CPA Society. He is also a member of the Indiana chapter of Urban Land Institute and is the co-chair of its Programming Committee. Additionally, Josh serves as treasurer and member of the board of trustees for Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre as well as treasurer and board member for IndyHub. He is also a member of the advisory council for the Indianapolis Zoological Society.
Josh was a finalist for Junior Achievement of Central Indiana’s Best and Brightest award in 2017.
