John Estridge is a partner in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Real Estate Services Group. Serving a wide variety of real estate clients and with a specialized knowledge of planning techniques for partnerships, he works closely with his clients to maximize tax savings opportunities and ensure their compliance. John is committed to developing strong relationships with his clients, serving as their trusted advisor and providing thoughtful and strategic advice.
Additionally, John is an active member of the firm’s Qualified Opportunity Zones (QOZs) practice, assisting clients with creating and maintaining Qualified Opportunity Funds, ensuring compliance, identifying and monitoring projects, and more. He is also highly skilled in financial, excel modeling and is well-versed in structuring considerations for clients seeking to monetize the Federal Historic Tax Credit and similar state tax credit programs. John frequently presents on a wide variety of federal income tax topics, including QOZs, recent legislative changes, and technical partnership tax matters.
John received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and a Master of Science degree in accounting from Indiana University.
John is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Indiana CPA, and the Indiana chapter of the Urban Land Institute. He has served as a tutor as part of KSM’s partnership with School on Wheels and regularly volunteers with Meals on Wheels of Central Indiana.
