KSM

Kerry Dunn has joined KSM as the firm’s chief financial officer, a newly created role. As CFO, Dunn will oversee KSM’s financial systems and processes, including financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and budgeting. Additionally, he will play a key role in the firm’s financial strategy, including acquisitions and leveraging data to make sound business decisions.

“With KSM’s growth in recent years, it became apparent that we needed a leader who focuses exclusively on the financial strategy of the firm,” said Chief Operating Officer Jamie Ellis. “With extensive financial and strategic experience, Kerry brings a strong record of success to KSM. As the accounting profession evolves and KSM continues to grow, we’re pleased to have him onboard.”

Dunn joined KSM after a 20-year tenure at BSA LifeStructures. As chief financial officer and chief development officer at BSA, Dunn helped grow BSA from a local footprint into one of the largest engineering and architectural firms in the U.S. As a member of BSA’s leadership team, he played a key role in strategic planning and M&A activity. He was also accountable for budgeting, reporting, and capital planning. A certified public accountant, Dunn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Ball State University.

“KSM is a highly respected leader in the accounting and consulting profession, and I look forward to working with the outstanding team here,” Dunn said. “The firm is growing and expanding geographically but remains committed to what has always made it exceptional—the drive to positively impact its clients, employees, and community. That is a culture I’m proud to be a part of.”
