Kerry Dunn

Kerry Dunn is chief financial officer for Katz, Sapper & Miller. Kerry oversees the firm’s financial systems and processes, including financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and budgeting. Additionally, Kerry plays a key role in KSM’s financial strategy, including acquisitions and leveraging data to make sound business decisions.

Prior to joining KSM, Kerry served as both chief financial officer and chief development officer at BSA LifeStructures. During his 20-year tenure, Kerry helped the firm grow from a local footprint into one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the U.S. As a member of BSA’s leadership team, Kerry played a key role in strategic planning and M&A activity and was also accountable for budgeting, reporting, and capital planning.

One important lesson I’ve learned: Don’t take the attitude of “win or lose” but rather “win or learn.” Some endeavors may not turn out the way you intended, but that’s okay if you learn from them and keep pushing forward.

Kerry received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Ball State University.

Kerry is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Indiana CPA Society. He serves on the board of the Western Boone Education Foundation.
