Mark Curcio Named Notable Leader in Accounting, Tax, and Audit by Crain's New York Business

NEW YORK – Katz, Sapper & Miller, a leading advisory, tax, and audit firm, is pleased to announce that Mark Curcio has been named a notable leader in accounting, tax, and audit by Crain’s New York Business. This list recognizes top industry leaders in the New York metro area who have paved the way in their fields, making significant contributions to their organizations, communities, and the industry as a whole.

Curcio, KSM’s New York office leader and a partner in the firm’s Business Advisory Group, works with clients in a variety of industries to help them minimize tax liabilities and ensure tax compliance. He specializes in helping clients navigate and thoroughly address complex multistate tax issues, including individual residency and nexus issues. He also works with clients to help them identify their business issues and to propose solutions that help them maximize opportunities and increase efficiencies.

Beyond serving his clients, Curcio is passionate about mentoring and encouraging younger staff members, drawing from his own academic and professional experiences to help them develop important professional and interpersonal skills. He has mentored high school students and several interns that have become members of the KSM team, and he’s an enthusiastic advocate for recruiting more diverse talent to the profession.
