One of the year’s biggest milestones was KSM’s 13th annual Community Day, the firm’s largest day of service to date. A total of 619 employees volunteered at 126 project sites nationwide, supporting organizations through activities ranging from packing meals and school supplies to harvesting crops, preparing welcome kits for children entering foster care, and serving individuals experiencing homelessness.
Another of the year’s highlights included KSM serving as the presenting sponsor of IBJ’s inaugural Nonprofit Excellence Awards, celebrating the organizations and leaders making a meaningful difference across central Indiana. The partnership reflects KSM’s longstanding commitment to strengthening the nonprofit sector and creating opportunities for collaboration, learning, and recognition.
“Our people continue to inspire one another through their willingness to serve,” said Katie Hammer, senior community engagement manager. “These accomplishments aren’t just numbers; they represent stronger nonprofits, healthier communities, and a culture that believes everyone has the opportunity to make a difference.”
