“Inspiring great people to do great things” is Katz, Sapper & Miller’s mission, and we’re honored to play a small part in helping clients across a wide variety of industries think big, bring their innovative ideas to life, and serve their communities and customers.

In that spirit, we present “Doing Great Things,” a video series that spotlights the amazing work our clients do, day in and day out, in response to the COVID-19 crisis.

In our third episode, Scott Schuster, a partner in KSM’s Audit & Assurance Services Group and co-chair of our Not-for-Profit Services Group, speaks with Children’s Bureau, Inc.’s Vice President of Communications and Development Annie Martinez. For 169 years, Children’s Bureau has served central Indiana’s children and families in need. At the outset of the pandemic the agency quickly mobilized with area hospitals and other partners to provide residential facilities for children who had tested positive or whose caregivers were affected by COVID-19. Annie also discusses the vast need Children’s Bureau has seen and how with its community partners it has given basic essentials and emergency relief to thousands of families since March.

“It takes a multitude of organizations to orchestrate a holistic [approach] to stability, particularly when it comes to family stability,” she says.

Watch the video and learn more about how Children’s Bureau is helping kids and their families dealing with the devastating medical and financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
