Construction Contractors: INDOT Offers Flexibility In Submitting Required Forms
Like many agencies across the country, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) recognizes the need for flexibility and adaptation during the COVID-19 health crisis. INDOT’s Prequalification Division has released updated guidance for construction contractors who need to submit Statements of Experience and Financial Condition. Primarily:
- The form and process for completing the INDOT Contractor’s Statement of Experience and Financial Condition prequalification are consistent with 2018.
- The Prequalification Division is still accepting applications and processing them as normal while virus-related measures are in affect.
- Although the state is extending licenses an additional 60 days, contractors still should take the necessary steps to submit the Contractor’s Statement of Experience and Financial Condition by the original deadline.
- If an extension is absolutely necessary, the request should be submitted to one of the prequalification INDOT representatives.

We understand that this change in policy is one of many adjustments contractors must be aware of right now. If you have any questions or need help navigating the evolving COVID-19-related guidelines, please contact a KSM advisor or complete this form.
