Katz, Sapper & Miller and McLeod Software have launched our third annual trucking operations benchmarking survey, providing truckload carriers the opportunity to measure the real performance of their operations against their peers. Download the key findings from our second annual survey.
The survey will examine several common performance indicators including:
- People and headcount
- Fuel consumption, expense, purchasing and efficiency
- Revenue miles, rates and surcharges
- Equipment counts and actual utilization
- Operating expenses
How can carriers participate in the survey?
- McLeod customers running version 15.2 or later have the benchmarking survey built in their system that generates the output file for the survey. This function can be backported for some versions of LoadMaster® Enterprise. McLeod customers should contact their Customer Support Representative to participate.
- Carriers that are not McLeod customers should contact Tim Almack at truckingbenchmark@ksmcpa.com to obtain the survey data collection document.
The deadline for submissions to be included in this year’s benchmarking report is June 30, 2016.
In exchange for participation in the survey, each carrier will receive a copy of the final benchmarking report. Each participant’s data remains confidential and completely anonymous.
Don’t miss out! The survey is a great opportunity for carriers to understand how their operational performance stacks up against their peers.
