Prior to joining KSM, Erin held various accounting and finance roles, which have informed her thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach to setting clients up for long-term financial visibility and success.

Ashley Roby is a manager in KSM’s Outsourced Finance & Accounting Services Group and works in the firm’s Fort Wayne office. Ashley serves as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients, providing strategic financial insight that drives operational efficiency, strengthens internal controls, and supports informed decision-making. With a strong focus on process improvement and client service, she delivers high-quality financial services while helping companies maintain compliance with internal policies and industry standards. Prior to joining KSM, Ashley held progressive leadership roles at a private university, including controller and director of business office operations. In these positions, she led an internal finance team responsible for comprehensive financial oversight, analysis, and accounting services. She managed large-scale system implementations and oversaw multimillion-dollar budgets and federal grants. Her background also includes experience in federal compliance, process improvement, and operational leadership within highly regulated environments.

Kerry Hayden is an accounting services onboarding manager in KSM’s Outsourced Finance & Accounting Services Group. Based in the firm’s Chicago office, Kerry leads the onboarding process for new clients, helping ensure a smooth and efficient transition into KSM’s finance and accounting services. She works closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to assess needs, establish workflows, and implement systems that support timely and accurate financial reporting. Kerry draws on her extensive client accounting background to identify opportunities for process improvements and to help clients build a strong financial foundation from the start of the engagement. Prior to joining KSM, Kerry was manager of internal accounting at MichaelSilver, an independent advisory, tax, and assurance firm in the Chicagoland area. She has more than 20 years of experience in internal accounting roles across the manufacturing, utility, and professional services industries, as well as five years of experience in public accounting.

Robin Kennedy is an accounting services onboarding manager in KSM’s Outsourced Finance & Accounting Services Group. Working in the firm’s Fort Wayne office, Robin helps clients identify their financial reporting needs and supports them in achieving their goals. She also plays an integral role in the firm’s client onboarding process and collaborates closely with her team to deliver accurate and reliable financial data. Robin has held various finance and accounting positions throughout her career. Prior to joining KSM, she spent 17 years owning and operating her own business, providing outsourced CFO and controller services. She also spent more than 15 years in public accounting. In these roles, she performed full-cycle accounting operations, managed accounting staff, and worked in the areas of taxation and payroll.

Dan Patterson is a manager in KSM’s Outsourced Finance & Accounting Services Group. Working in the firm’s Chicago office, Dan assists clients with day-to-day accounting operations, including transactional processing, monthly close, and financial reporting. With more than 10 years of experience in client accounting services, he helps businesses improve the accuracy, efficiency, and clarity of their financial data, supporting informed decision-making and sustainable growth. Dan also provides advisory insight around process improvements and reporting systems to help clients align their finance functions with broader business goals. In addition to his client-facing work, Dan leads and supports accounting team members by overseeing workloads, providing guidance, and supporting efficient service delivery. He also contributes to process improvement initiatives, helping refine workflows, standardize procedures, and enhance reporting processes to drive consistency and operational efficiency across the department. Prior to joining KSM, Dan was a manager at MichaelSilver, an independent advisory, tax, and assurance firm in the Chicagoland area, where he focused on client accounting services.

Allison Allen is a director in KSM’s Audit & Assurance Services Group. Allison works with clients to help them minimize risk, maximize efficiencies, and ensure accurate financial reporting, which includes assisting with the implementation of new accounting standards. Though she has experience serving both for-profit and not-for-profit clients in an array of industries, Allison’s main areas of focus are real estate and hospitality.
