Steve Hazelbaker is president of Noble Consulting Services, Inc., KSM’s insurance regulatory consulting group. Steve has more than 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, including 20 years of experience serving as a CFO and in other senior management roles.
Prior to joining Noble as a vice president in 2015, Steve served as vice president and director of corporate enterprise risk management for a property and casualty insurance group. In this capacity, Steve led the development and documentation of the enterprise risk management framework. He also prepared risk‐related reports and presentations for rating agencies and regulators, including leadership for the group’s initial ORSA process and reporting. Prior to that, Steve was a partner with a Big Four public accounting firm, where he specialized in serving the insurance industry.

Steve received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Steve holds the Fellow, Life Management Institute designation from the Life Office Management Association.
Steve is a member of the Society of Financial Examiners, the Indiana CPA Society, and the Insurance Regulatory Examiners Society.
