Stephen Short is a director in KSM’s Audit & Assurance Services Group and is an active member of the firm’s Transportation Services Group. He provides audit, review, and attestation services with a primary focus of serving clients in the transportation and distribution industries. Stephen uses his industry expertise to help clients implement operational best practices, achieve accurate financial reporting, avoid risk, and maximize efficiencies.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephen spent two years in public accounting primarily servicing real estate clients.
Stephen received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business – Indianapolis, with majors in accounting and supply chain management and a minor in economics.
Stephen is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Indiana CPA Society, the Ohio Trucking Association, the Texas Trucking Association, and the Iowa Motor Truck Association.
