Ryan Achterberg

Ryan Achterberg is the senior vice president of AI and automation in KSM’s Intelligent Technology Services Group, where he leads the AI and automation consulting practice. He helps organizations move from manual work to intelligent workflows, pinpointing where data, AI, and automation will pay off, building solutions people actually use, and putting governance in place so leaders can trust the results. Ryan treats AI as an ongoing capability, not a one-time project. Each solution is measured, refined, and used to find the next opportunity, so clients keep gaining value long after go-live.

Ryan began his career at KSM as an internal network administrator. He later helped start KSM Consulting as its second employee and spent more than 20 years helping build it into Resultant, a technology, data, and AI consulting firm, serving as consultant, principal architect, and, most recently, CTO. Across these roles he delivered AI solutions, cloud and data modernization, enterprise architecture, IT managed services, and technology and data assessments for public sector entities, private businesses, and highly regulated organizations.

Ryan brings this experience, and relationships built across the nation, back to KSM to help SMB and mid-market companies put AI to work with confidence.
