Rachel Clark is director of learning and development for Katz, Sapper & Miller. Rachel leads the firm’s learning and development (L&D) function in creating training and professional development opportunities for KSM employees. She focuses on designing engaging learning experiences for all KSM associates to equip them with the skills they need to reach their career aspirations.

Prior to joining the firm, Rachel served as a talent management director for OneAmerica Financial Partners. In that role, Rachel led the performance management and succession planning processes, served as a leadership coach, and worked to design and implement leadership and associate development programs, an enterprise onboarding program, and culture change tools. Prior to her tenure at OneAmerica, she served as the associate dean of instructional development for Harrison College.

Some of the best advice I’ve received is to step outside your comfort zone; that is where real learning happens, and it’s how you can build confidence in the fact that you have the ability to do more than you know.

Rachel received a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education and English from Indiana University and a Master of Science degree in human resource management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Rachel also earned a master’s level certification in organizational and executive coaching from Columbia University.
