Pete Richards is a FreightMath junior developer for KSM Transport Advisors, LLC (KSMTA). In this role, Pete supports the continued advancement of the firm’s proprietary FreightMathTM platform and contributes to key FreightMath initiatives. He helps enhance the platform’s functionality by developing features and refining tools and analytics that support innovative, data-driven solutions aligned with client needs and evolving transportation industry trends.
Pete’s previous consulting experience as a software engineer includes developing and maintaining coding standards, implementing code-quality tools, and troubleshooting build-related issues. Most recently, Pete engineered a full-stack invoicing application with a FastAPI backend and React frontend, incorporating advanced PDF generation, JWT authentication, and a dynamic user interface.
Pete received a Bachelor of Science degree in integrated media from Ohio University, with a minor in business administration. He also completed the Full Stack Coding Boot Camp at the University of Denver and holds certificates in both programming with Python and computer science from HarvardX.
