Megan Torres is a senior research associate in KSM’s Government Consulting Services Group. Megan helps local, state, and federal government clients understand the influence of their decisions by conducting comprehensive research and data analysis.
Prior to joining KSM, Megan worked as a research analyst specializing in economic impact modeling, workforce development, gender equity policy, and entrepreneurship at the Greater Sacramento Economic Council.
Megan received a Bachelor of Science degree in business economics from the State University of New York at Cortland. She also earned a Master of Science degree (magna cum laude) in commerce and economic development with a concentration in data analytics from Northeastern University.
Megan’s work was recognized with the 2024 Excellence in Economic Development Award from the International Economic Development Corporation. Her co-authored industry analysis report, which promoted regionalism, cross-sector partnerships, and community over competition, achieved gold winner status and a best in show nomination.
