Joe Roznai

Joe Roznai is a partner in KSM’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Business Advisory Group. Joe brings more than 35 years of experience in federal, international, and state and local tax planning, consulting, and compliance. He works with entrepreneurial businesses across a wide range of industries – including manufacturing and distribution, retail, professional services, and dealerships – to understand their needs, identify potential challenges, and develop strategic tax solutions that support growth and long-term success. He also has extensive experience serving S corporations, partnerships, and LLCs, as well as advising clients on U.S. and international income tax matters.

Additionally, Joe regularly shares insights through articles and speaking engagements on state and federal tax matters, including income and sales tax.

Prior to joining KSM, Joe served as a partner at MichaelSilver, a longstanding, independent Chicagoland advisory, tax, and assurance firm. His background also includes experience as a tax manager at a regional CPA firm, consulting roles with a national CPA firm, and time spent as the tax director for a publicly held leasing company.

An important lesson I’ve learned in my career is that there is almost always another way to view a problem. Taking the time to look at challenges from multiple angles often leads to clearer thinking and better solutions.
