Janell Wilson is a partner in KSM’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Audit & Assurance Services Group. Janell provides audit, review, and compilation services to privately held companies and works with clients to ensure accurate financial reporting, improve accounting systems, and strengthen internal controls. She serves clients across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, automobile dealerships, interior design, professional services, and not-for-profit.
Janell also has extensive experience auditing employee benefit plans and delivering accounting, business consulting, and compliance solutions that enable clients to enhance operations and achieve their financial goals.
Prior to joining KSM, Janell was a partner at MichaelSilver, an independent advisory, tax, and assurance firm in the Chicagoland area, where she led assurance engagements and provided consulting and special project support.
Janell received a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Michigan State University.
Janell is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Illinois CPA Society. She is involved with Soaring Spirits International and enjoys volunteering at local animal shelters.
