Erin Wagoner

Erin Wagoner is chief people officer for KSM. Erin plays a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s culture and employee experience. Working closely with firm leadership, she leads strategic initiatives that foster a positive and supportive workplace, aligning human resources strategies with KSM’s broader business goals. Her work focuses on meaningful employee connection, leadership and technical development, and holistic support to attract and retain top-tier talent.

Erin’s began her career at KSM in 2004 as an auditor and later transitioned to a business advisor role within one of the firm’s tax workgroups. After gaining extensive executive experience as chief financial officer and chief operating officer at Servant Solutions, a not-for-profit financial services organization, she returned to KSM in 2022.

Erin also brings academic experience, having served as a professor of accounting at Anderson University, her alma mater. Her diverse background in audit, tax advisory, executive leadership, and academia uniquely positions her to lead KSM’s people operations with insight, empathy, and strategic vision.

I love poetry, and Mary Oliver is my favorite poet. Her poem “The Summer Day” ends with the line, “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” I try to make the most of each day of my one wild and precious life.
