Eric Hart is a manager in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Transaction Advisory Services Group. Eric works with clients to help them minimize risk, maximize efficiencies, and ensure accurate financial reporting. He specializes in post-transaction accounting advisory, helping buyers and sellers navigate accounting and contract matters after the deal closes by preparing opening balance sheets and calculating purchase price adjustments. He also assists with acquisition accounting support, audit support assistance, and other technical projects.
Prior to joining KSM, Eric worked at a Big Four accounting firm in Indianapolis, where he assisted clients in a variety of industries with acquisitions, initial public offerings, financial reporting, and more.
Eric received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from Purdue University.
Eric is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. He serves as a board member for the Mapleton-Fall Creek Neighborhood Association, and he is leading a project in partnership with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful (KIB) to design and implement a new public green space. Eric volunteers regularly with KIB and its partnered not-for-profit organizations to plant trees and clean up public spaces.
