David Dunst is director of carrier intelligence for KSM Transport Advisors, LLC (KSMTA). David has more than 20 years of IT and business intelligence experience. He leads KSMTA’s FreightMath™ technology transformation plan, which delivers significant value to KSMTA’s existing and future clients by providing increased functionality through the optimization of advanced technologies. Additionally, as a key facilitator of KSMTA’s Trucking Analytics Council (TAC), David helps transportation professionals grow their data analytics strategies and techniques.
Prior to joining KSMTA, David most recently served as an IT manager for Paper Transport, a leading Wisconsin-based for-hire truckload carrier and provider of brokerage services. During his time with Paper Transport, David was a key contributor to the company’s technological evolution. His background also includes 21 years of service as a member of the Wisconsin Army National Guard.
David received an associate degree in computer information systems from Allied American University.
David is a founding member of TAC and the Fox Valley Business Intelligence and Analytics group.
