Corey McSweeney is a manager in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Fort Wayne office and a member of the firm’s Audit & Assurance Services Group. Corey focuses on providing value-added accounting services to his clients, helping them avoid risk and navigate opportunities to improve their business. Additionally, he has worked on various sell-side financial due diligence projects, which have helped clients with business succession. He serves clients in an array of industries with a focus on construction, manufacturing and distribution, and not-for-profit.
Corey graduated from Purdue University Fort Wayne with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and received a Master’s in Accounting degree from the University of Michigan.
He has also earned the prestigious Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation, which is an indication of his expertise in the area of construction financial management.
Corey is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Indiana CPA Society. He serves on the Program Committee of the Building Contractors Association of Northeast Indiana (BCA) as well as the finance committee of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne, where he also participates in build days and other volunteer events with the organization. Additionally, Corey serves as a board member of Hemophilia of Indiana and the University of Michigan Alumni Club’s Fort Wayne chapter and volunteers as a Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana.
