Corey McSweeney

Corey McSweeney is a director in KSM’s Fort Wayne office and a member of the firm’s Audit & Assurance Services Group. Corey focuses on providing value-added accounting services to his clients, helping them mitigate risk and navigate opportunities to improve their businesses. Additionally, he has worked on various sell-side financial due diligence projects, assisting clients with business succession. He serves clients in an array of industries with a focus on construction, manufacturing and distribution, and not-for-profit.

Corey graduated from Purdue University Fort Wayne with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and received a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Michigan.

He also earned the prestigious Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation, which is an indication of his expertise in the area of construction financial management.

Corey is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Indiana CPA Society. He serves on the program committee of the Building Contractors Association of Northeast Indiana (BCA) and the programming task force for the Associated General Contractors of Indiana (AGCI). Additionally, Corey serves as board secretary for the Northern Indiana Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), as board treasurer for Hemophilia of Indiana, and as a board member of the University of Michigan Alumni Club’s Fort Wayne chapter.

Corey was honored with a 2026 Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly Forty Under 40 award. In 2024, he received KSM’s Community Service Excellence Vision Award, which recognizes employees who are pillars and leaders in the community.
