Brittany Schutter is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Business Advisory Group. Brittany specializes in federal and multistate tax compliance and consulting for businesses and their owners, while keeping them informed of current tax legislation and emerging topics. She serves clients in a variety of industries, with a focus in transportation and dealerships. Brittany also has experience with mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring of businesses, helping clients navigate the tax implications from these transactions. She is a member of the firm’s Transportation Services and Dealership Services Groups.
Brittany graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Ball State University, where she also received a Master of Science degree in accounting.
Brittany is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Indiana CPA Society, the National Alliance of Auto Dealer Advisors, and the Indiana Motor Truck Association’s Future Leaders of Indiana Council. She serves on the Ball State Miller College Young Alumni Accounting Advisory Council. Brittany previously served on the board for the Emily Yott Foundation, an organization committed to helping families that are dealing with childhood cancer.
Brittany is a recipient of the 2020 Emerging Leader Award from the Paul W. Parkison Department of Accounting at Ball State University, where she has also previously been honored as a recipient of the 3 Under 30 Award.
