Brad Weiss is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Audit & Assurance Services Group, where he focuses on ERISA employee benefit plan audits. Brad guides his clients through the audit process to ensure participant assets are properly allocated and protected and that plans are operating in compliance with their provisions. He stays current on legislative, regulatory, and accounting and auditing issues that impact the employee benefit plan industry through continuing professional education courses and annual attendance at the American Institute of CPAs Employee Benefit Plans Conference.
Brad also serves clients in the manufacturing and distribution, professional services, and healthcare industries, supporting them in complex accounting situations and helping them better understand the necessary reporting processes and requirements for their financial statements. He consults with clients throughout their audit, review, or attestation engagement to help them evaluate their internal control processes, identify risks, and close any gaps in areas of concern.
Brad received Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in accounting and finance from the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa.
Brad is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. He serves as HOA treasurer for DeSoto Townhomes in downtown Indianapolis.
