Avery Boxell is a tax senior in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Real Estate Services Group. Avery helps provide planning and consulting services to the firm’s real estate clients to help minimize their tax liabilities and ensure compliance. He is experienced in Qualified Opportunity Zones (QOZs) consulting, tax research, and financial statement compilation and modeling.
Prior to joining the firm, Avery interned with various organizations across the financial services industry, including one of the largest RIA firms in the country, a Big Four accounting firm, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.
Avery graduated summa cum laude from Taylor University, double majoring in accounting and finance with minors in mathematics and economics.
Avery is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Indiana CPA Society (INCPAS), and the Indiana chapter of the Urban Land Institute, where he serves on the Young Leaders Group Steering Committee. Additionally, Avery has served as a mentor for the INCPAS Scholars program, a career awareness and mentoring program for minority high school students.
