April Meade is a senior manager in KSM’s State & Local Tax Group. April provides guidance to clients on a variety of multistate tax matters, including analyzing their state tax consequences and helping them resolve complicated sales tax issues.
Prior to joining the firm, April worked as a staff attorney for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, hearing officer for the Indiana Department of Revenue, and associate attorney for Wright & Associates, P.C. Her experience includes sales and use tax and other types of tax audits.
April received a Juris Doctorate from Robert H. McKinney School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma City University.
April is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation. She serves on the finance committee for Brooke’s Place, where she is a former board member. Additionally, she is a graduate of Convergence’s Indy Collective Leadership Circle, a high-impact leadership development program for executive leaders, managers, and emerging change agents.
