Tom Lowery is a manager in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Real Estate Services Group. Tom provides tax planning and consulting services to the firm’s real estate clients, helping them minimize their tax liabilities and make sound business decisions. He is experienced with asset sale forecasting and projections, tax research, and like-kind exchange transactions. Additionally, Tom consults on aviation compliance and consulting matters, helping clients through aircraft acquisition, structuring, operation, and disposition.
Tom received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
Tom is a member of the Indiana CPA Society (INCPAS), where he participates in INCPAS’ Young Pros Leadership Academy (YPLA). He is also a member of the Indiana chapter of Urban Land Institute as well as the National Business Aviation Association. Tom serves as board president for Rock Steady Boxing of Brownsburg, an organization which aims to improve the quality of life of people with Parkinson’s disease through non-contact, boxing-based fitness curriculum. Additionally, he regularly volunteers in the Indiana foster care system and is actively involved with Traders Point Christian Church.
Tom was named a high-grade winner for his performance on the Indiana CPA exam.
