Tim Arnold is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Business Advisory Group. Tim serves clients of various sizes – from small businesses to large public and private corporations – equipping them with the advice they need to minimize their tax liabilities and exposure while making valuable business decisions. He also helps clients navigate the complex waters of federal and multistate tax, optimizing their tax positions and ensuring compliance with both GAAP and tax reporting requirements. Tim has extensive experience with income tax accounting, tax consulting, tax compliance, and other tax planning matters and brings a wealth of industry and business knowledge to KSM.
Prior to joining the firm, Tim spent the first 13 years of his career at Big Four firms and four and a half years as director of tax accounting for a Fortune 200 company. Most recently, he owned, operated, and invested in a series of franchises.

Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance with a minor in mathematics from Indiana University.
Tim is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of CPAs. He previously served as a volunteer soccer and football coach for Carmel Dad’s Club for several years and as treasurer for Cub Scout Pack 520.
