Tim Almack is a partner in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Audit & Assurance Services Group. As the partner-in-charge of the firm’s Transportation Services Group, Tim works with clients to ensure accurate financial and tax reporting, analyze and improve key performance indicators, and utilize resources to assist clients in increasing profitability, and thus the value of their companies. Tim is very involved with many state trucking associations, the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA), FreightWaves, and other industry organizations that promote general transportation knowledge and best practices. Additionally, he is a board member for KSM Transport Advisors, LLC.
Tim received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Manchester College.
Tim is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Indiana CPA Society, and Conexus Indiana’s Logistics Council in addition to the American Trucking Associations (National Accounting & Finance Council); the Alabama Trucking Association; the Arkansas Trucking Association; the Georgia Motor Trucking Association; the Illinois Trucking Association; the Indiana Motor Truck Association (advisor to the board of directors); the Iowa Motor Truck Association; the Kentucky Trucking Association (executive committee and board of directors); the Michigan Trucking Association; the Missouri Trucking Association; National Tank Truck Carriers; the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association; the Tennessee Trucking Association; the Texas Trucking Association, and TCA (board of directors).
Tim serves on the board of directors and executive committee for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis’ Catholic Youth Organization. He is a past president of the Huntington, Ind. Jaycees and coached football for several years at St. Maria Goretti School.
