Ron Lenz is a partner in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Audit & Assurance Services Group. Ron assists clients in meeting the needs of an ever-evolving financial reporting landscape, helping to ensure they have the information they need and the operational controls in place to develop accurate financial reporting that leads to value-added decision making.
Ron also oversees the firm’s Construction Services Group where he provides specialized consultation to a variety of privately held general contractors, subcontractors, and heavy highway contractors. He’s a frequent presenter at local and national construction industry conferences.
Additionally, Ron advises businesses throughout bankruptcy and reorganization as well as advises clients and attorneys in matters of financial litigation, often challenging assumptions to help clients obtain the best possible litigation.
Ron received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Indiana University.
He earned the prestigious Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation, which is an indication of his expertise in the area of construction financial management.
Ron is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Indiana CPA Society, the Central Indiana Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association, and the Construction Industry CPAs/Consultants Association. He serves on the legislative and finance committees of the Indiana Construction Association and is treasurer of the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (ICCIFP), which is dedicated to promoting excellence among financial professionals serving the construction industry. Additionally, Ron had the honor of being selected by Building Indiana for inclusion in its “Who’s Who in Indiana” special report.
Ron is a past president and treasurer of ArtMix. He has served on the board of the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana, Inc. and is a member of its strategic planning committee. Ron has also served as a member of the finance committee for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School and on the board of St. Elizabeth’s Home. Additionally, Ron is a member of The Alliance, a forum of business leaders and experienced senior decision-makers in privately held, mid-sized companies throughout Indiana. The group’s mission is to help make other member companies profitable by providing networking opportunities and presenting new ideas for members to consider.
