Pam Black is a manager in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Valuation Services Group. She has completed hundreds of valuations throughout her career, providing timely and useful information for clients involved in shareholder disputes, healthcare transactions, marital dissolution, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and financial reporting. Pam’s main focus is supporting clients in estate and gift planning, helping them ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements involved with the fair market value of assets being transferred.
Pam has worked with organizations of all sizes in various roles and has helped them better understand and improve the value of their companies. She has prior experience in S corporation and shareholder taxation, not-for-profit taxation, bank and not-for-profit audits, and has provided consulting services to not-for-profit organizations. Pam has served as the controller for a small not-for-profit organization as well as provided consulting, audit, and tax services for both a top-tier CPA and advisory firm and a Big Four firm.
Pam received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. She holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
Pam is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. She has previously served as a co-chair for the PrimeGlobal Valuation and Litigation Services Special Interest Group, been a member of the Indiana CPA Society Professional Development Committee, and a co-chair for the Indiana CPA Society annual Valuation Conference.
