Michael Fennerty is a manager in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Transaction Advisory Services Group. Michael helps private equity firms and strategic investors better understand their deals through conducting financial due diligence and advising on business structuring and valuation-related matters. Additionally, he provides sell-side transaction advisory services to sellers and investment banks to address and mitigate deal issues early in the sale process, helping preserve company value and increase the transaction’s certainty of closing.
Michael is also a member of the firm’s Healthcare Resources Group, where he provides transactional services, strategic planning, hospital/physician integration, budgeting, financing, and tax planning for various physician groups, hospital systems, and other healthcare providers.
Prior to joining KSM, Michael served as an analyst with a middle-market investment bank, providing merger and acquisition advisory, capital markets, and restructuring services.
Michael graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a Master of Science degree in accounting in addition to a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance.
Michael is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Indiana CPA Society, and the Association for Corporate Growth (Indiana chapter), where he serves as board treasurer.
