Katz, Sapper & Miller Launches Government Consulting Practice
INDIANAPOLIS – The CPA and consulting firm of Katz, Sapper & Miller announced today the expansion of its public sector services with the launch of its new government consulting practice. Luke Bosso has joined KSM to lead the practice.
KSM’s government consulting practice will provide creative solutions that eliminate barriers faced by state and local governments. Key services offered include project management, economic development project management, economic development strategy for local governments, grant management, request for proposal management, process improvement and agency efficiency, and redevelopment planning.
“We have an extensive history of providing high-quality audit and accounting services to public sector organizations, and the establishment of this new consulting practice enables us to offer a variety of complementary services in this space,” said Tim Cook, CEO and president of KSM. “Luke brings deep experience and a mix of governmental, operational, administrative, and economic development talents that make him a great fit for leading this practice.”
Bosso’s experience includes nearly seven years in public service, most recently as chief of staff for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). He previously served as the deputy chief of staff for the Indiana Department of Child Services and as senior policy and operations director for Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb.
“The challenges facing state and local governments today are complex, especially in light of the ongoing pandemic recovery and related economic impacts,” said Bosso. “Coming to KSM to lead this practice and advise our government clients will allow me to do what I enjoy most – solve problems through creative, data-driven solutions and ultimately help governments to better serve their constituents and communities.”
This investment in the government consulting practice stands apart from KSM Location Advisors, a wholly owned subsidiary of KSM that provides site selection and incentive consulting services to public and private companies throughout the United States. The leadership and operations of these two service offerings will practice independent of each other.
